The Envy apple has a peel that is mostly red with little yellow specks. The peel is fairly thick and tough, and the flesh has a faint yellow that looks like a sunset from afar. It is a sweet apple with low acidity and emits a hint of flowery taste that lingers on your breath after every bite!
Fresh Apples:
Room Temperature: If you plan to eat your apples within a week, you can store them at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat.
Refrigerator: For longer storage, keep your apples in the refrigerator. Apples stored in the fridge can last several weeks to a few months. Place them in the crisper drawer for the best results.
Cut Apples:
Airtight Container: Store cut apple pieces in an airtight container.
Refrigerator: Keep the container in the refrigerator and consume within a few days. To prevent browning, you can toss the apple slices in a bit of lemon juice.
