Fresh Strawberries:
Refrigerator: Store strawberries in the refrigerator to keep them fresh. They can be placed in their original packaging or transferred to a container lined with paper towels to absorb excess moisture.
Ventilation: Ensure the container has ventilation to prevent mold growth. If you have a perforated container, that works well.
Unwashed: Keep strawberries unwashed until you're ready to eat them. Washing them beforehand can lead to quicker spoilage.
Frozen Strawberries:
Freezing: To freeze strawberries, first, wash and hull them. Then, spread them out on a baking sheet and freeze until solid. Transfer the frozen strawberries to a freezer bag or container. They can be stored in the freezer for up to a year.
